MS Office Instructor

Be part of our team of instructors and start making a difference by helping our diverse student body train for success! Our company is seeking Full-time/Part time independent contractors for our online computer training. The primary goal of the online computer instructor is to prepare our students to use industry leading office software in the workplace. The Microsoft Office Specialist instructor is responsible for providing thorough, meaningful, and measurable instruction for students at a beginner level.

Contribute to the development and implementation of competency-based education and utilize available educational resources for the improvement of instruction and the creation of teaching materials;

Maintain accurate student and course records;

Provide input to the Director regarding student outcomes;

Enforce academic policy and procedures at all times;

Provide quality instruction at all times to students teaching classes for the entire class period and properly covering the curriculum and outline for Microsoft Office 2013-2016 and preparing students to take the Microsoft Office Specialist exam in Word 2016.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in a related field of study or certification in MS Suite
  • 3-5 years teaching experience
  • Firm knowledge of MS Office 2016 and Windows/PC/Mac environment
  • Knowledge of Google Drive, OneDrive, and Cloud Storage
  • English speaker preferred
Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching non-traditional students.
  • Adobe Photoshop & Premier Software is preferred but no necessary
  • Experience teaching in an online or distance education environment.
  • Ability to self-manage, work at a fast pace, as well as take direction when required
